Blood Group Type Diet

To stay healthier and lose weight, it is recommended to have diet based on the blood groups. The food that we eat, react chemically with our blood type. If one follows the diet in accordance with specific blood group, the body digest food more efficiently. We’ll lose weight, get more energy, and help to prevent diseases. What we can eat depends on our blood type.

Here we explain what is recommended for each blood type:

Type ‘O’ blood: A high protein diet heavy on lean meat, poultry, fish and vegetables, and light on grains, beans, and dairy is recommended. Various supplements can be recommended to help with tummy troubles and other issues, people with type ‘O’ tend to have. To complement with food intake, lots of vigorous aerobic exercises such as aerobics and running are recommended.

Type ‘A’ blood: A meat-free diet based on fruits and vegetables, beans and legumes, and whole grains ideally organic and fresh is recommended for people with blood group type ‘A’ because people with type ‘A’ blood have a sensitive immune system. Calming exercises are best for blood type ‘A’ such as yoga or golf.

Type ‘B’ blood: Food grains like Corn, wheat, buckwheat, lentils, tomatoes, peanuts and sesame seeds should be avoided by type ‘B’ people. Chicken is also problematic. Eating green vegetables, eggs, certain meats, and low-fat dairy products are encouraged. Activities that have mental component such as hiking, tennis and swimming are recommended for blood group B’s.

Type ‘AB’ blood: In Blood type ‘AB’ S people are advised to have soya paneer, seafood, dairy products and green vegetables in their diets. People with type AB blood tend to have low stomach acid. Caffeine, alcohol and smoked or cured meats should be avoided. Blood type AB’s should combine calming exercises with moderately intense activities.
