Body collects fat in various parts of the body, including liver.  If fat store in huge amount in liver then this might be a symptom of fatty liver disease.  Dietary changes is the primary treatment method for this disease, small amount of fat always stored in the liver over a time but too much fat deposition can cause risk of developing liver disease, it may also cause liver inflammation which result in liver failure in a span of few months, There two types of fatty liver a) alcoholic b) non- alcoholic fatty liver here are some best and worst food for fatty liver.

Foods to eat for fatty liver

1. Green tea

Involving tea in the diet is beneficial because green tea contains antioxidants that can prove to be helpful in reducing the fat around liver.

2. Triphala

Triphala help to detoxify and cleanse the colon it also purifies the blood and removes toxins from the liver it also reduces the forms of cholesterol (serum cholesterol) and reduce high blood pressure. It is considered as purgative form of laxative.

3. Green leafy vegetables

Green leafy vegetables are most powerful allies in cleansing the liver which can be eaten either raw, cooked, juice or in smoothie form. Greens are high in chlorophyll, and help to detoxify the liver. Nitrate compounds found naturally in greens which prevents and reverse liver fatty disease.

4. Soy

The fat which is buildup in liver can be reduced by the intake of soy food because soy contains antioxidants which are also known as isoflavones, which lead to decrease the fat levels in the body by regulating the insulin levels and increasing its sensitivity. 5. Garlic

1. Alcohol

2. Fried foods and salty foods

It is advised by experts to restrict calories from diet so patient should reduce the intake of fried and salty foods from the diet because they contain a lot of calorie. If FLD patient consume salt then it leads to outcomes such as dysregulation of the rennin-angiotensin system, which increase the risk for fatty liver patients.

3. Baked products

Baked food products include sugary food items like cakes, ice-cream, pastry, pie etc. baked products contains high amount of sugar and carbs that can make treatment difficult for fatty liver patients and also worsen their condition.
